I am buying a 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus. The vehicle does not have paddle shifters. I plan on installing them and need to enable the option. Can I do this through the Engineering Menu? I can access it by pressing the Temperature Up & Down button together. Anyone have any knowledge about doing this?

    Thanks,
    Ed

i want to say that it would have to be activated in the computer by the dealer, same thing like adding fog lights to one that dont have any, dealer activated.

I found out you can do this with alfaobd, a blutooth obdII connector and a bypass module for 2018 models and up. Gonna order the Hellcat shifters and get them installed.

So I got my ODBLink MX+ Bluetooth connector last night and downloaded the Alfaobd app and installed it on my tablet. Plugged it in to my wife's 2017 Challenger. It worked very slick. Told me everything about her car and showed me what options she got. I pick my SXT Plus up next week. Got a set of Hellcat paddle shifters since it didn't come with them. Should be a breeze to get them installed. The OBDLink MX+ is awesome for diagnosing engine problems. Had a real time app that lets you monitor your engine while driving. just waiting on my Double Bypass cable for the 2018. :)
