I'm on another road trip and with both highway and interstate driveing I still got 25.5 MPG even with a 93 CAI tune. I don't understand why alot of people can't get 20 MPG and if I'm not strickly in town I always get much better than that.

What speed do you set your cruise on? I'll try it on the way to Houston Saturday. The best I've got was 20 w/ the 93 CAI tune.I will admit I'm usually a few mph over :shhh:the posted speed limit. I can't drive 65....
Sometimes I wonder if my MDS is actually work'n ! I can not hear or feel a difference at 45-55 mph. Isn't that where it suspose to kick in?

75 or 80 depending on the streatch of the road. I can hear my MDS when it kicks in and if it goes on and off much I go to 5th and just let all 8 run. There have been threads that if the MDS is kicking on and off your mileage is better with the MDS turned off and it's easier to go to autostick to turn it off then to use your predator. My MDS kicks in at all speeds not just 45-55. If the car doesn't need the extra power it folds back to 4 and then when you go up an incline or accelerate it lets all 8 in.

That's good I know you've been trying everything to get it up and mine is like an energizer bunny, It went 450 on that tank and I was as stuborn as it was that I wasn't stopping untill I needed gas. That was like about 7 hours without stopping.

the best I have been able to muster is 24mpg, 89 octane gas, no tune. around town and maybe a 100 mile trip to and from Alexandria thrown in,... I can get 18-19 mpg. I am tempted to run the 91 CAI tune and put in 93, but that would break the bank!!!

we will see if the price of petrol goes down some in the future.

just paid $3.98.9 a gallon of 89 octane this evening.:bigseeingdollars:

Dang! You can get 90 mpg? Congrats!

Gas is $4.299 for 89 today; still watching for the fall but not holding my breath.

My highest was 25.4 with only 2800 or so miles on it. 8800miles and last weekend was the first time since that I checked it and got 24.9 with some city and 75-80mph Interstate and only a couple spirited bursts of acceleration.

That's pretty close. Mine has 9500 miles on it now. That tank had no ethonal in it so it might drop on this next one with that junk in it.

I must be doing something wrong because the most Ive been able to get out a gallon is: 22.9, and that's with 93 octane and driving mostly highway. With a six speed, I figured I would have better control of the PRMs and shifting which would translate to better MPG, but from y'alls post I'm diffenently doing something wrong.

In the end, it really doesn't matter. I love this car too much to worry about MPG or getting 2-3 miles less per gallan than someone else. IT'S ONE GREAT CAR.

So you've been sandbagging this whole time. Your car can do it.
