back in the 70's when I had the old school hotrods. I had no problem drilling holes in my hood and putting in real hood pins. But the cost of those vehicles were soooooo cheap back then.

now with a close to $30,000 vehicle I beg to differ now. ldtimer:

Look too short to work on our sandwich hoods, the ones I've seen installed have all been the Moroso 5" kits. Hotchkis makes a really nice domed topplate set. I've had hoodpins ( the Moroso, and another that the topplates 3m on, instead of screws), but like Dave just can't seem to drill/add on as most times I think it's just too much, but they are out there!
