If you drive a late-model rear-wheel-drive Chrysler or Dodge cara 2010 Dodge Challenger, for instanceyou'll want to take note of this one.
Chrysler has issued a recall of select 2009 and 2010 model-year rear-wheel-drive vehicles for a problem that might lead to the front wheels falling off. Apparently, some of these models left the Brampton, Ontario factory without a front spindle nuta part that, to put it bluntly, keeps other parts in the front-wheel area from coming undone.
"While driving, a tire and wheel separation could occur increasing the risk of a crash," says National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) report. Prior to any issue, vehicles missing the part likely wouldn't drive any differently without the part.

The recall covers 12,674 vehicles that potentially have the issue, including 2009 and 2010 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, and Chrysler 300 models.
Dealers will inspect the area and make sure the vehicles have a spindle nut.
Chrysler started the recall last week, and owners of the affected vehicles should contact the dealership or call Chrysler at 800-835-1403 for more information.
