Anyone here running with this intake? If so, how do you like it? i'm debating on running with this one, basically because it is cheaper and you do not see it alot. I have read about it from the guy who made it, and it sounds good.

I bought a CAI for 56.00 on ebay. Not ONE company has real data that their product performs ANY better than mine - :)
CAI at the most will gain 1-3 ponies. The best is probably the cheapest. Throw in a k&n drop in filter and leave your box alone for the best hp gain. If you are going for looks and bling (Mike I know you are), get what looks best as there is no real performance difference.
Yeah. I was going to make the Frankentake with a Spectre filter on the silver Challenger, but I get a free mopar cai with the PCP, so... I'm currently just looking for a purple filter now. I sent an email to Spectre to see if they can hook me up with one, but I have my doubt's.

I will probably mess with the Charger for the Frankentake. I like how it dips down on the side of the engine
Some CAIs will advertise +20HP, and for that matter, most bolt ons will do that. What they're actually doing is dynoing hot pre-CAI install, then cold post-CAI install. Any engine will dyno +20HP cold versus hot, so you can pretty much discount that gain.

Is the Frankentake any better than any other CAI? Meh, who knows. If you like the way it looks, and the price is right, go for it. It'll definitely make your car SOUND meaner. :)
Naw.. i'm seeing the Frankentake the same as all CAI's but it's alot cheaper to make it yourself (just over $100). Matt Robinson posts how he did it along with other people posting how they did theirs.
Matt was the one who came up with the intake btw.

I put the K&N drop in in my S/E and saw no improvement to performance or MPG (over 2 months).

I put a chromeintake CAI ($35 shipped) and the next day could get tire squell from stopped which I could never get before with the 4 speed.

My opinion is that CAI's are really for looks and not uber HP gains.
