:(:(:(:(:(:( did I mention I am sad? :(:(:(:(

So yesterday Im trying to get finished with work and I had my Fuji f700 camera on the front seat of the work truck (Ranger- I knew it was evil) and it was near the console area when I shut the truck off. I walked around to the passenger side to retrieve some items and once I opened the door it was like the camera just flew out!! I saw it hit the door then the side step and bounced off the curb and landed in the street!!

It broke the battery door hold downs on the camera body so the battery door wont stay closed all the way. I could live with that one but it also seems to have a focus problem as well.......

Man I am bummed I really like this camera and it was the one I carried with me every day you know for Challenger sightings and stuff.

Dont have cash for a new one at this time either.

Ouch, that hurts. Do camera shops still repair cameras, or are cameras disposable items now too?

OK digital photo EQ would be the photo kiosk you see in stores where you make your own pics. I work on the computers for them as well as the thermal printers and the dye sub printers. (dye sub printers rock in pic quality!!!).

WETLABS, well you remember when you used to take your film to the store to get it proccessed? They are proccessed by a wetlab and there are many styles. We also have digital prints that are done in wetlab machines. I hate the chemicals but its a job. Did you know one of the byproducts of film developing is silver?

Each silver recovery unit could hold as much as 75 pounds of silver!

Oh and besides photo equipment I work on the following:

Servers
computer workstations
registers
monitors
thermal printers(Sato)
laser printers (mostly Lexmark)
Handheld barcode scanners
robot dispensing machine

ETC............ :readthemanual:

I get it now... digital photo equipment and wetlabs, as in developing real film.

Yes I knew there is silver on film. No I didn't know there could be that much in a machine.

There is also platinum in catalytic converters.

So this robot dispensing machine.... what type of robots come out? ;)
