and also thinking of doing the Mopar hood pin kit. since I do have a fiberglass hood and would like to make sure it is secure.

You must do an install thread on the dash change PLEASE, would be interested to know how to/how hard to change that out. Also good to see ya dumping da fake hood-pins, but not of fan of the overpriced and Cuda positioned Mopar set, the DCSs besides being being priced better and correct Challenger (70-74) position, but also the holes thru the lower section are thru the sides of the hood and looks much cleaner with hood up IMHO.

Sickr. that link I posted above on the speedo faces has a how video on their site, looks pretty simple, th3e hard part of course is getting your cluster out of the dash, but the video makes it look easier.

as far as the Mopar pins, I saw a Toxic Orange RT at Moparfest at the hotel, he had them in his and told me all about the install and made me feel better about it and that discussion really convinced me into getting those, plus them being the factory ones. with the mopar m on the pin cover on the hood looks cool too.

Cool, I'll check that out! Either set are fairly easy installs, touch bit harder thru glass just keep the bore bit nice and square thru the lower section cuts a clean hole. :D

Like the flames and the overlay. The flames are just the right touch. Yes, please post any tops on the install. Some of the early Challenger gauges cold stand an update for sure.

I was able to acquire painted cup holder panels for the engine bay at Challengerfest4.

made a template to cut the holes this time for them so the hood pins would fit right.

really makes the engine bay look clean, also removed the prop rod.

also made me a ID plate similar to the ones that BT used to produce, they quit making them a couple of years ago.

mine is made of a metal plate like I use for my award plaques. it sticks on with 3m foam tape.

redid my Rated BA decal too, it was starting to get bubbles and folds in it from the heat. so I made one on metal too.

Pardon me for saying Dave, but I just got wood seeing those custom plates. A guy could probably make some money selling those. Know what I'm sayin'?

They're both way cool and you got that thing looking righteous!

Dave, I'm in the market for a new longer lasting lucky 13 wing decal. Do you make those also, if so what's the price?
