They did use a Mustang Bullitt in Vanishing Point! lol But they only used it in certain scenes. Her is a link to were i found out for sure.

I wonder where IMDB got that from... like where's the proof?
If they gave some info to compare - like 56:30 in Vanishing Point uses the same audio as 21:30 in Bullitt. Without a way to verify, I call bullshitt lol
Especially since the movies were made by different studios and different production companies.

I just watched it and did see all the other "goofs" like the Camaro in the end.

IMDB says if you slow it way down you can see Camaro tail lights.
But without even slowing it down you can easily see the following:

Hood flying off, and flipping end over end several times - no hood scoops there.
Rear quarter - clearly a Camaro
Deck lid maybe - clearly a Camaro emblem (upside down)

Oh I know, they are like THE place to go for movie facts.... but without giving a way to verify something that is posted I'm skeptical. The rest of the facts are easily verified by watching it.

Besides, with the beautiful sound of the Hemi, why use any sound from a Ford from a two year old movie? LOL
