I just installed today the Mopar pedal kit. I did a lot of reading of the install on Challenger forums before I made my purchase. Dipping the brake pedal in boiling water before installing worked like a charm. I read a lot about folks who had a lot of trouble getting the brake pedal to slip on. I got the rubber boiling hot, ran outside and used a towel and a flat head screw driver and got the sucker on. I used the screw driver to assist with getting all the rubber edges folded down. I used the towel to handle it because, well it was BOILING hot.

It took me about 15 minutes to finish the install. I found the set for $50.00 on Amazon.

A couple months ago I installed Oracle red LED lights in my map lights. Super easy install. Popped out the plastic covers, pulled out the old, and put in the new. Now the interior of my car feels like a cockpit of a fighter plane. I am getting a polished shifter plate to reflect more of the red LEDS upward from Billet Technology any day now.

I put a reflective dome sticker over my push button start of the Death Proof skull. I ordered it from reflective concepts for 7 dollars. Can't beat that!

When I first got my car I ordered from Billet Technology a custom shifter knob with the Death Proof logo on top.

I also rebadged the front and back on my car with the old school Challenger script.

My next planned mods will wait till next month when I plan on getting Web Electric sequential lights. I want my whole brake bar to light up when I hit the brakes. I also want the Jones Full Boar muffler and delete the resonators for a little more rumble. I know it won't sound like a V8, but I want it the closest I can get it to sound like Barry White fighting a grizzle bear with a chain saw. Most likely wishful thinking. Hey overtime ain't so bad when you can spend that extra money on making your car more of your own. Most of these mods are reversible. If I decide to upgrade to a RT or purchase a used SRT8 I can pop most of these off and return the vehicle to stock for my trade in. I haven't had the car a year yet so I wont be doing that for a while. Plus I REALLY like the gas mileage I have been getting lately. I do have hemi envy, but right now I am enjoying the hell out of this SE Rallye.

    :D

Looks good, thanks for the update! Think your car has the 6-speed (2009-2010) dual exhaust with the forward glass pack bottle mufflers and the rear huge resonators? If so I would just get the BlastinBobs resonator deletes, either the straight pipe or the glass pack models, as you still have the stainless steel mufflers and pipes back to just behind the rear axle. Most who had used the Jones, CherryBomb, Magnaflow, etc mufflers were on the PRE-2011 cars with the single large mufflers. Either way, those resonators besides being quiet, must weigh a ton and it will go MUCH faster without em! ;)

nice mods and it will sound like a V8 with the Jones mufflers.
I have had lots of folks who had no idea I had a V6 until the hood was up

I found this mod on another forum that user name "RockAnRoll" discovered and it was cheap, easy, and makes the front of the Challenger a little more retro. I thought I would share it in case you folks were interested too. I am not going to advertise to other forum name, (only because I think its against the rules here) but I did want to give credit to "RockAnRoll" who discovered this and was nice enough to talk about it. ;)

Pep Boys sells a "Double sided Stop/Turn/Tail light" for $8.00 a piece. These are intended for tractor trailers. One side has a red lens and the other is orangish amber colored. The amber lens pops right off and fits PERFECTLY in the Challenger fog light socket. No glue, 3M tape, or any kind of adhesive needed, fits very snug. It makes the fog lights look like the 1970's Challenger's turn signal. You have to buy two for each fog light, but $16.00 was cheap enough for me. LOOKS FANTASTIC! :D The light shines bright enough to still serve as fog lights too. Looks great day or night.

    See below for pics.

Very creative. In the past fog lights were usually amber anyways.

Love the pedals...that's my next mod too. I also ordered LED lights for the domes, but just white...should be pretty bright inside the car now. Nice car you have!

Looks great and we are all about the info here, and have reposted things like the Amber Lens mod myself. Remembered seeing it here somewhere but hard to find it so suggest you re post it as a mod in exterior section, as it seems to be a popular mod! :D
