Dave,
now that you have base line runs with your car and the predator under the tree when can we expect updated 1/4 mile times with the predator in use?

i am curious as i have seen no real world DYNO pulls with that unit on our cars.

LMAO!!!, well that fact the the closest track to me is about 1 1/2 hours away and they dont open back up till January 9th, the other one is about 144miles away, that is a day in itself.... not sure, but waiting for the 25th is the big one. I just want to test it out as far as the other things it can do. The first thing I want to see it work with is the accelration lag. after that, milage. track runs will probably come later when our club makes another road trip,......but will keep you posted :thumbupleft:

what gets me is that the SE had nothing but the 4speed auto for 2009. Does the Charger come with a 5 speed auto with the v-6?
Dave
the 2009 Predator supported the 2009 Charger with the NAG1 (5 speed)
AND the 2009 Challenger with the 42RLE (4 speed). I beta tested the Predator when it first came out while I was working with Modern Muscle on the Challenger aspect of their 3.5L supercharger. The 42RLE transmission is completely electronically controlled by a fuzzy logic artificial intelligence algorithm. Diablosport (at that time ) didn't want to get into it. What is odd is that the 2010 Challengers with the NAG1 are not yet supported by the Predator. It looks like Chrysler has changed something (software, firmware.. I don't know yet) in the PCM.

Surprisingly, after I installed the supercharger the 42RLE adjusted itself to the change in torque, including shift points at partial throttle.

 just curious............ how much was the supercharger for your v-6?
I just checked Modern Muscle's web site and they want you to call for a price.
It really isn't as simple as X dollars. The Challenger supercharger kit is based on my tune that worked out several issues over a month. None were fatal, but they are all gone. It runs fantastic and I have more boost to go.

Expect to have around $5k handy. It may be less or more at this point.
But that was just the start. The SE suspension wasn't designed for that much torque and was mushy. So I had (I don't change springs and struts anymore) the Pedders LX+ tuned suspension put in. Springs, struts. bump steer correction, poly bushings etc. Now the car dropped 1 1/2 " steering is rock solid, no rock&roll. My little beast is taking shape. Yes, there are other ways to do this, but I am going to make this car into something very special to suit my needs.

Wait until I post a picture of the carbon fiber hood that got the vinyl removed and deep red candy carbon striped with multiple clear coat.

I have just TIG welded a bracket to move the coolant expansion tank to I can pipe in cool air from the front to the blower.

Annnnnd I am doing fluid dynamic modeling so I will have a special FI top intake manifold for spring.

It doesn't end.............

Well, your answer of $5k give or take is all I wanted to hear. So I think I will pass on that.

Back in my hey day with my Chevy hotrods, I spent the minimum that I could to get out everything I could. Guess you could say I was an economical hotrodder. $5k is just too much for my budget to handle.

thanks for the info. I be interested to see what you finally come up with.
