A couple of months ago, I ordered Billet Tech's script Challenger fuel door insert. I have no problems with it, looks good, etc. However, I just purchased a new one with a different design.

I can't get the one from BT back out! It seems to fit perfectly so I can't get anything between the seam of the insert and the fuel door. I've tried the plastic dash pry tools and a plastic guitar pick. I'm not sure what else to try that would be slim enough.

    Any ideas from you guys?

How thick is it? And is it important that it's in good shape when it comes off?

very thin, 1/8th of an inch perhaps? and I'd rather it be in good shape, but worse case scenario, i just want it off. you know? if i can resell it, that would be fantastic, and I'll try for that , but if not, at least it's off.

You may be able to cut a slit through the middle of it with a thin cut-off wheel. And then use something in the slit to pry half out at a time. At least you won't be prying against the edge of the fuel door recess.

Ah, good idea! I'll use the dremel tool tomorrow and see how it works out.

How much do those babies cost? Fuel? Might be retro, but come on. If I'm modding the car, maybe a Mopar M like my dash would look good.
