Runaway Toyotas... oh what a feeling.

I don't know what is worse, runaway Toyotas or drivers that don't have the sense to turn off the ignition, or take it out of gear. :eyeroll:

I found this quote from a Toyota spokesperson interesting:
"I think it's possible to get the shifter confused, but I can't be sure that's what happened" in San Diego, Lyons said. "You'd be surprised how many people around here [Toyota] don't know what the neutral position is for."

People that work for Toyota, an auto manufacturer, don't know what neutral is? WTF?

was watching fox news this AM, they had a report about frame rust
on the toyotas. evidently it is a MAJOR problem and they are trying to get the FEDs to go after them for it.
i can tell you the photos they were showing of the trucks was something i havent seen since the cars here in the 70s when the manufacturers were using the reclaimed japanese steel

I'm gonna have to try to find that on youtube or somewhere.... I'd like to see it.
It's more than just floor mats coming loose.
