Not sure what you mean by tallest sidewall. I've seen 24" rims, but then the sidewalls are what I would call very short... 25, as in 275/25ZR24. The Pirelli PZero Nero 275/25ZR24 are 29.4" in diameter.
the actual side wall from the ground to the start of the rim

my current tires are stock P215/65R17
and im wondering if a 235/65R17 will fit without problems
this would be 1" taller and .75" wider.
i also wonder if there is a taller tire combo that would fit with
the stock wheels and suspension.

in the old days we raised our cars with the tallest fattest tire
we coud fit without problems and i would like to do the same
with my retro muscle

I used to work with a tire salesman. This guy knew his wheels and numbers regarding tires. I would suggest for the safest information...would need to ask a reputable tire salesman. just my $.02.

i will give that a shot, i just wasnt sure if they would have
that information for such a new car and im not sure if the
tire size info would be the same for the challenger and other
LX based cars.
I think you would be OK with that tire. It's the same wheel well that houses my 245/45ZR20's. Incidentally, now that my rear tires are near the wear bars, I will be upsizing to a 255/45ZR20 which was an option for the rear anyway. I want to stay with the Goodyear RSA because I love the ride. Wasn't an 18 inch rim an option for the SE? That could be another way to fill up the wheel wells.

Yeah I beleive the 18" option was with the G package, maybe not, but I have the 18's on mine.

But I will take a set of 20" chrome clads any day. you take visa Jack?
