Ok now that we had some snow on the first day of Spring here in North Texas it's time to push all this crappy weather away.

Lets start getting idea's from our members here on a good cental spot for us North Texas Outlaw members to Meet up and Greet!!!!
What could possibly look hotter than a whole crap load of Challengers, all getting together every month?

Im a host for a weekly M&G on LX's site and would love to spear head this M&G for a monthly and possibly weekly M&G. So write in your thoughts and include your location. Want to fair to all of us on being as central as possible.:drinkingbuddies:

I spent 10 hours driving one handed to Lake Somerville and back to scout site and talk to the rangers about reserving two pavillions. Found two pavillions adjacent with volly ball court - multiple bbq sites - and boat ramps - reeds offshore for wader fishing

first picture - one of the two pavillions ($25.00 day rental)
second -view from first pavillion to boat ramp
third - there are about 12 of these freestanding bbq pits scattered between pavillions
fourth - volley ball field
fifth - closer view of freestanding site

These photos look bare this time of year but it will be GREEN GREEN for the time we are looking at

Scouted Caldwell Tx for meeting site to convoy to lake

Looks good Ghosty! For local (DFW), area we had been meeting in Allen, and cruising to Celina for eats/pictures last year. But we did one M&G at Grapevine Dodge last year, as it's more central to the entire area. We could do both on different weekends as we were doing the Allen ones on the last Saturday of the months, but haven't done any since December, due to the fun winter weather! Got four more inches snow here Saturday, this is a memorable winter for me, got to make Jerri some snow icecream Sunday, hadn't had that since I was round 12 years old, hahaha!
I was thinking of Somerville for a once a year M&G - sort of a mini-Texas- Challnger nationals
Looks good Ghost. You all don't have a date on this work in progress do you?

No date yet!
Figured Sickr Bee was sleeping when the first day of spring hit. So wanted to get things rolling on M&G's

Since Ghost chimed in with the lake thing, our SE~xy ( Challenger's name ) will be safe at home. :cool:Cause if were doing a lake M&G were bringing our boat......

Come to think of it, thats the only way I get to hang out with you guys & girls.

Got the Captain in you?

the PartyCoveCaptain has other duties to attend in the summer months!:neener::drinkingbuddies::thumbupright::thumbupleft::rockout::p:cool:

Hope it was'nt that yellow snow we were told not eat when were kids, Mark!!!!!

Allen has gotten way built up now! That new Allen event center at Doodie's bar and grill is a great spot to meet up for lunch and take a cruise North.

We went by for there car show and it was canceled. All there employee's were pointing at us! We could hear them saying " ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh........aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh................Se~xy ass Challenger.............

:waiting:Just yahoo mapped it, futher than Temple Tx.

Aaaaaa NoWay, gas for the truck and Boat....mmmmmmMMMMM nope. My Step dad Ghost hasn't sent any Child support in YEARS. Have to pass..............:;:)

Hay why dont you cruise up here and camp out at Mark's house for a weekend>?:lol::cool::p;)
Whatcha think Mark:question:
distance - about a 3-4 hour from all three hubs (DFW/Houston/SA) - long but reasonable for EVERYONE - any other area and one of the three gets scr-wed! (I DO know there are OTHER areas of Texas like Harlingen and Amarillo - but this is central to the greatest number of members - poor Rat would have to fly in by helicopter :( )

They also have tent camping right next door to pavillion #2 - I am thinking about rolling down Saturday and camping overnight (camping slumber party with bonfire anyone?) - M&G Sunday with drive home

Also there are some small cabins at camp entrance

The logistics for all make THIS M&G a once a year thing - that's why I refer to it as the Texas Nationals

date - sometime around June15??????????????????
date - sometime around June15??????????????????
:thewave: omg I'll be home :thewave:
"omg I'll be home"

as I said - somewhere around APRIL 15th??????

ps MIKEY :neener:
