Dave

:neener: thats why i kept the cover idea to myself until i had mine done:neener:

and then only told the few of you that i consider internet bud's:thumbupleft:
how to make it.

i have had a few requests for directions but dont want you to get in a bidding war for the one part you still need to get so no info has been passed out yet.

by the way i did get a few shots of how i mounted the studs for the lid
if you want i can send them to you.

let me know

while true thats too funny:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Dang!! is that spooky or what? :think:
Nothing relevant to the conversation, just wanted to give u PROPS, for removing ur proprod, an clip!
thanks, these cars should have come with the struts from the factory
the prop rod is so damn CHEAP
Agreed! Had dealer install when I bought it, but notice hardly anyone removes the ONE revet holding it on, looks like belt AND suspenders to me!

How would you feel if you had bought a Nissan GTR, which is 90k, and you open the hood to see a pop rod! :rofl:

a HELL OF A LOT worse than my 25K car:mad:.

its just so cheap to install them at the factory, they are adding
a trunk liner to the 2010s now how about the struts and functional scoops
too and if it adds $100 to the price its worth it.
Lol, that is just stupid on their part! Guess they just hope that people will buy the scoops and struts through them.

And for the non functional scoops, why couldn't they have just shaved the back of them off so it'll at least let some air in.
truthfully the first thing I bought for mine was the hood scoops. got them off of ebay for about $60.
so far I am the only bidder for a HEMI egine cover on ONE of the bidding sites and have located second in S Cal (for cutting up for mock up) - hopefully will have both in hand for Christmas (teachers get two weeks off) and then I will have time to make my cover......

take a look at a 350Z engine cover on Google image - that would be RADICAL to make fit and comes WITH the 3.5 liter markings - just dremel out the nissan badge and make that part a vent
