Mine is definitely a keeper, I have too much invested and it is still being personalized. That said, I am considering picking up another one and parting with my Harley. While the Harley is still new (2008) I seem to be riding a lot less than I used to, not to mention it is completely useless in the winter and cold. I will likely wait for the 2011 to come out to see what gives.
was going to trade it in for a viper but had second thoughts due to it being a 2 seater and with a wife and 2 kids i would have been back to the same situation i had when i had the corvette plus since the challenger is paid for i thought it best to leave the cash in the bank just in case with the way this economy is going.
My SE is a daily driver I drive 80 miles a day round trip. I'll trade it in at 100k that's when the power train warranty runs out, that should take about 4 years. If they still make the Challenger I would consider another one.
I got mine in a deal with my dad that my grandpa had also made a deal with my dad when he was my age. When i got my first car it was the 1984 camaro that my dad got when he turned 17 from the deal with my grandpa. So the goal is to keep the challenger long enough to give to my son one day when i make the same deal with him. So it is definately a keeper
I think we may get another in a couple more years. My wife LOVES my Challenger, so much so she's talking about getting one when our son gets out of HS in ~ 2.5 more years. We'll have to decide between another Challenger or an AWD Charger R/T. And I've already decided that when my Jeep GC goes off with my son to college that I'm replacing with with a GC SRT8.
