My buddy and I went head to head about 1 week ago just to see how far apart our SRT's are on a dyno.

I have a 2009 6.1 SRT 6-spd. (My mods are listed below my username)

My buddy has a brand new IE 392 6.4 6-spd. His car is bone stock.

As you can see, I have some catching up to do. I have recovered most of my drivetrain loss to the wheels, but there's more out there up for grabs without going SC. If my schedule allows this week, I'm going to have the SRT Max Cam installed. My buddy doesn't know about this yet, but he will find out next month when we go head to head again. ;)

These new 392's are nasty! 422+ rwhp, bone stock, is very respectable. They seem to be only losing 10% compared to the 15%-17% of the older, stock, 6.1 SRT.

Overall, I lost Round 1. Round 2 is coming up in the second week of June. We'll wait and see how that goes.

There were about 19 cars there that day, and a lot of them were LX's. There was at least one or two of every exhaust brand in existence except Solo. I don't remember hearing that name ever coming up. I was the only one there with Zoomer's. ;)

LOL! Every time I mention to someone what kind of exhaust I have they all look at me expecting to hear Magnaflow or Flowmaster and when I say "Zoomers" they look baffled.

But I'll be damned if you weren't right about the Zoomers my friend. They have me, who is infamous for being picky about my sound, just...amazed and satisfied!

I get the same look myself. I mean, c'mon, Zoomer's sounds more like a kid's breakfast cereal than anything else.

That's what makes up people. We all have our own likes and dislikes. In a nutshell, you and I are on the same page. :thumbupright:

Actually, when I first heard of the name Zoomers I thought about a nice pair of ti...well, you know.

And, let's not be so modest. We both KNOW that Zoomers IS thee best baby! LOL.

Here's the ones I've heard in person...And from my ear of view it's not even close how much deeper, throatier, meaner, girthy and earthy, louder, and simply old school sounding the Zoomers are in comparison!

Flowmasters (on a Magna Charger equipped 6.1 auto)

Corsa Sport (on a Procharger equipped 6.1 auto)

Corsa Extreme (on my own 6.1 auto)

Corsa Extreme reso deleted (on my own 6.1 auto)

Straight pipes (on IntimidatorR/T's 5.7 auto)

Solo Performance (on my own 6.1 auto)

SLP Loudmouth (on Motownmopar's 5.7 auto)

Blastin' Bobs (on a 6.1 manual at Atco recently)

Stock with resonators removed (on a 6.1 manual)

Corsa Sport (on Hemijunky's cammed Stage II 6.1 auto)

And last one I can think of was either another Flowmaster or Magnaflow (on Brennshemi's 5.7 auto)

I will say right here and now that the the Solo was the second best sounding of them all that I personally heard in person.

But for some reason the next best sounding system I've heard in a video demonstration would be the Corsa Sport that Transporter/Steve just put on his 6.1 6-speed.

Off-topic, sorry man but talking tone excites me!
