My buddy and I went head to head about 1 week ago just to see how far apart our SRT's are on a dyno.
I have a 2009 6.1 SRT 6-spd. (My mods are listed below my username)
My buddy has a brand new IE 392 6.4 6-spd. His car is bone stock.

As you can see, I have some catching up to do. I have recovered most of my drivetrain loss to the wheels, but there's more out there up for grabs without going SC. If my schedule allows this week, I'm going to have the SRT Max Cam installed. My buddy doesn't know about this yet, but he will find out next month when we go head to head again.
These new 392's are nasty! 422+ rwhp, bone stock, is very respectable. They seem to be only losing 10% compared to the 15%-17% of the older, stock, 6.1 SRT.
Overall, I lost Round 1. Round 2 is coming up in the second week of June. We'll wait and see how that goes.
